Being a dentist is a very concrete identity, and yet, sometimes we forget there's a human being behind every chair.

The Gap Experience is built to close that space, not with more information, but with real brotherhood, men sharing with each other in a setting built around movement, fun (yes, fun), and experience instead of more knowledge.

It's a day and a half with twelve to fifteen dentists, men fresh out of school sitting alongside men all the way into retirement, learning as much from each other as from anything we bring into the room.

Together we'll look honestly at the gap between the life you set out to build and the one you're actually living, name the patterns that might be keeping you stuck in it, and do all of that alongside other men carrying the same weight, in real brotherhood instead of on your own.

The gap between the career you built and the life you actually want. That's what we're here to close.

There are plenty of programs out there for better techniques, better systems, running a better practice. This isn't one of them: this is for the man behind the chair.

Built and led by Dr. Mark Davis, a dentist who's closed this gap himself, alongside master coach and former CEO Dave Rosenberg.

We've found that a lot of the real bonding and wisdom sharing happens after the formal program ends. Please join us for one night at the hotel as part of the experience.

This isn't a guys' weekend away. It's real conversation, real presence, and the kind of experience that actually changes something.

How this started

Dave and Mark met at a men's trip. Mark will tell you he almost didn't go, that it wasn't really “his thing”, and that he wasn't sure what he was walking into. What he found surprised him. The connection, the honesty, the feeling of being around other men who were carrying something similar weight and willing to say so, it stayed with him long after he got home. And he realized that many dentists would benefit from a similar experience.

Somewhere during the weekend, Mark told Dave he appreciated having someone with a coach's training in the group, someone paying attention to what was going on underneath the surface. As they talked, it became clear that partnering up for The Gap Experience would be something worth building together.

Mark has spent decades in the chair, built a practice, built a reputation, done all the things dentistry asks of you. And at a certain point he had to face the same question he sees in every room full of dentists, how much of your life is going toward the business, and how much toward actually being happy. He found his way through that, and built Dental Simplified out of it. This program is what he wishes someone had handed him when he was still figuring it out.

Before he was a coach, Dave ran a company for over 20 years as a CEO in the pharmaceutical industry. And at some point the job forced a question underneath it, who am I when I'm not the CEO. That question is what led him into the coaching work he does now, helping men see the hidden patterns quietly running their choices, and helping them choose something different.

The voice that says "this isn't for me" has kept a lot of good men stuck in the gap between the life they want and the life they have.

You'll come in feeling you have to carry it all alone. You'll leave knowing you don't have to.
